**How we know**

Every figure here is as grenadaparliament.gd publishes it, checked 18 August 2026. Where a number is our own arithmetic rather than a printed figure, the row says so.

## What to know before you apply

All figures above are read directly from the text of the Remote Employment Act, 2021 (assented 1 July 2021, commenced 9 July 2021) as published by the Parliament of Grenada, including Schedule II fees. The Government of Grenada's general portal (gov.gd) does not currently carry a dedicated digital nomad page, and no application portal was located, so the practical application route should be confirmed with the Immigration Department before publication; status is recorded as 'live' because the Act is in force and has not been repealed by anything found. The Grenada Tourism Authority page corroborates the EC$100,000 income and US$1,500 individual fee. No official processing time is stated.

## What it means for your tax days

Section 9(1): 'For the avoidance of doubt, no income tax is payable in respect of any income generated by the non-national, or his or her dependant, outside of Grenada in accordance with this Act.' Section 9(2) grants conditional duties exemptions set out in Schedule III. Section 10: a permit holder and dependants 'are deemed to not be resident' for the purposes of the Representation of the People Act, the Citizenship Act and the Immigration Act. A visa is permission to stay; tax residency follows the days you actually spend. Check Grenada's tax authority for the day test that applies to you — and count the days either way.
