Change announced

Cabinet approved (19 May 2026; TAT newsroom 16 Jul 2026) replacing the 60-day exemption scheme with 30 days for 59 nationalities (incl. all 27 EU member states), 15 days for Mauritius and Seychelles, and Visa on Arrival for Azerbaijan, Belarus and Serbia. Five Ministry of Interior announcements take effect 15 days after publication in the Royal Gazette — not published as of 16 Jul 2026; the 60-day rule remains in force until then.

How the count works for Indians in Thailand

You may stay up to 60 days. The recorded maximum applies to the current stay.
