What to know before you apply

Still open — both official pages were live on 18 August 2026 with no suspension or replacement notice. Correction: the legal basis Migraciones cites is Ley 25.871 as regulated by Decreto 616/2010 and Disposición DNM 758/2022, not Disposición 1/2022. Neither official page carries a last-updated date, so the recency of the content itself cannot be confirmed.

What it means for your tax days

A visa is permission to stay; tax residency follows the days you actually spend. Check Argentina's tax authority for the day test that applies to you — and count the days either way.
