What to know before you apply
Senegal has no digital nomad or remote work visa. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs publishes only the ordinary entry rules: nationals of a long list of countries (including all 28 EU states, the USA, Canada, Brazil, China and Japan, plus 19 African states) may enter without a visa for stays under three months, needing only "un passeport ou un laisser passer... (ces documents doivent avoir une validité de 6 mois minimum)"; other nationals must obtain a visa. In practice remote workers use the 90-day visa-free stay. For a longer stay the route is a carte d'identité d'étranger / carte de séjour applied for through the Ministry of the Interior, but that requirement could not be quoted from an official page — the Senegalese MFA visa-application page (diplomatie.gouv.sn/index.php/demande-de-visa) currently returns a Drupal database error and senegalservices.sn returned no content, so no figures, fees or durations for the residence card are recorded here.
What it means for your tax days
A visa is permission to stay; tax residency follows the days you actually spend. Check Senegal's tax authority for the day test that applies to you — and count the days either way.

How does Stretch help with the Senegal stay?
Log the day you land and Stretch counts the days against the permission you are on, shows the date you must be out, and reminds you at 14, 7, 3 and 1 days. It also tallies the days that count towards tax residency, so the 183-day question answers itself. The counting and the alerts are free, forever.
